No Fix - No Charge

In the unlikely event that we are unable to repair your machine then we will return it to you reassembled at no charge.

Service Fees and inspection details

​​​Inspection ​£10

​If your machine is not sewing correctly but you do not wish to commit to the cost of a full service and repair, the mechanic will:-

1. Perform an inspection of the machine in an attempt to determine the potential cause of the problem.
2. Provide an advisory note of any remedial work that maybe required

The mechanic will not:

• Clean,
• Disassemble the main body of the machine,
• Undertake adjustments, lubrications or any component replacements.

Standard Service ​£40
 
If your machine is in working order and sews correctly. The mechanic will:-

1. Perform an inspection of the machine
2. Clean the upper mechanism, bobbin and hook area, and feed-dogs
3. Check movement and timings
4. Check needle plate 
5. Check light (if fitted)
6. Oil and lubricate accessible parts only
7. Undertake minor adjustments where the parts are accessible
8. Provide a servicing report and advisory note of any remedial work required.

The mechanic will not: Disassemble the main body covers of the machine or replace any component parts.

​Full Service ​£60
 ​
If the machine is not sewing correctly.
The mechanic will:-

1. Perform a full inspection of the machine.
2. Perform all activities described in the Standard Service.
3. Remove and re-fit the main body covers (where required)
4. Check internal fittings, fasteners and undertake major adjustments  
5. Oil and lubricate parts
6. Provide a servicing report and note of any work undertaken.

The mechanic will not: Replace any component parts.

Please Note:-
Customer approval will be sought to authorise replacement of any defective parts, which are found. All such replacements will be charged to the Customer at an additional cost to the above servicing fees.
